Aisling Bea
Aisling was born on 16 March 1984 at Kildare Ireland. She is one of Ireland's most successful and well-known comedians. The comedian has appeared on QI along with Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan (born 16 March 1984), better known as Aisling Bea, is an Irish actress writer and comedian. Bea's professional career started in 2011, as a stand-up comedian, following her appearance in a few parts for Irish and British TV shows that began in 2009. The comedian began to appear often on sketch comedy and sitcoms later in the year. Following her win at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards she began being booked frequently for various panel shows where she is now a regular. In 2016 through 2017, she was a team captain on 8 Out of 10 Cats and is a frequent contestant for the follow-up show 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. The actress is the child of Brian O'Sullivan and Helen O'Sullivan. Sinead, her sister, was also born. She was in 2012 the second female to be awarded the So You Believe That You're Funny award. Bea is her surname in honor of her deceased father. Aisling Cliodhnadh was born on April 16, 1984, in Kildare Town in County Kildare. She was the daughter of Brian O'Sullivan. Brian was an equine veterinarian who died when Bea was three years old. She did not know what happened to him until she turned thirteen. The stage name she chose was Bea to pay tribute to her father and wrote an article for The Guardian in 2017 about the suicide of her family members. Bea was raised with her older sister Sinead with Helen Moloney. Helen is a secondary teacher, jockey trainer, as well as a former professional racer. Her family were in love with racing and horses. Bea was a trainer for The Irish National Stud in her young years. She knew, however it wasn't something she wanted to do for a living and that she was more interested in doing.
